Electric machines require less maintenance, as there are fewer parts to maintain, and they can work in urban and indoor job sites because they have lower noise levels and no engine vibrations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Komatsus_Plan_for_Carbon_Neutrality\"><\/span><b>Komatsu&#8217;s Plan for Carbon Neutrality<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komatsu plans to expand its line of electric equipment due to the benefits of electrification. The company has set a target of reducing carbon emissions by half by 2030 and achieving complete carbon neutrality by 2050.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Features_of_Komatsus_Electric_Excavator\"><\/span><b>Features of Komatsu&#8217;s Electric Excavator<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PC210LCE electric excavator runs on a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 451-kilowatt-hours. It can work for up to eight hours on a single charge, making it suitable for use on job sites where access to charging may be limited. The electric excavator has a small carbon footprint, making it an environmentally friendly option for the construction industry.
