For example, in May 2022, workers at a CNH Industrial plant in Racine, Wisconsin, went on strike as members of UAW Local 180. The arguments raised by this nearly nine-month-long strike included pay, overtime, paid time off, and retirement benefits.<\/p>\n
After discussions and strikes spanning more than a year, the UAW Local 180 strike in Racine came to an end in January 2023. Anyhow their best efforts, a few staff members may soon be let go as part of CNH’s reorganization plan, which was revealed in November 2023.<\/p>\n
<\/span>The action plan is taken by CNH and Union<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\nNumerous discussions and offers were made throughout the negotiations between CNH and the unions. Meetings for these negotiations took place in June, August, and September of 2023. On January 7, 2023, the union rejected CNH’s final contract offer, and a final vote to approve a new contract will take place on January 21, 2023.<\/p>\n
