The plant produces medium hydraulic excavators, Komatsu&#8217;s Intelligent Machine Control technology, forestry equipment, and articulated dump trucks (ADTs) 40 years later. CMO also works with Komatsu&#8217;s entire North American operation in engineering and product development as well as the supply chain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DH Griffin, a demolition, environmental, and infrastructure contractor, purchased the company&#8217;s 60,000th PC490LC-11 excavator, which is currently available for purchase. The milestone was marked on July 10 by <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komatsu<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> employees, customers, and local officials and highlighted the newly introduced PC220LC-12, which will serve as the production template for future excavator models made at the site. When it comes to the use of Komatsu&#8217;s PC-series excavator, the predictability of its parts availability, known service intervals, and wear points are easier to evaluate with this manufacturing pedigree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A plant that continues to invest is not a plant with the clock ticking. CMO was not just sustained for 40 years; it took the complete range of the plant and changed it to the smart equipment of today, such as intelligent excavators and ADTs. It&#8217;s not a red flag like a manufacturer that is ramping out of a factory just before it has a last run of a product, something that buyers of other OEMs have become aware of.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a number that buyers can actually compare to with a track record of 60,000 units.
