Case Construction Equipment, a 180-year-old Wisconsin-based manufacturer, has announced the reintroduction of its iconic “Construction King” name with the release of five new backhoe loader models. The move comes as the company seeks to meet diverse and comprehensive backhoe options for businesses in the landscaping, rental, agriculture and utility sectors.

Two of the five new models are immediately available to the North American market, including the Utility Plus and the 580SV Construction King center pivot. The remaining three models will be released later in 2023. The new backhoes are part of a total of 30 new machines that will be showcased at the Case Booth W40800 at CONEXPO-CON/AGG from 14 to 18 March in Las Vegas.

Diverse and Comprehensive Product Line

Brad Stemper, Head of Product in North America said clearly that the product portfolio they will be launching is a strong one. The first thing that consumers can look forward to is an expansion of the companies backup product line. He claimed that it would be one of the most comprehensive and diverse backhoe offering in the industry, and every type of business and user will be able to find a case backhoe for their project.

The new Utility Plus is an efficient platform that is easy to maintain and operate. This brand new 74-horsepower loader also features a big cab with clear view to all work areas, ease of service with a maintenance-free emissions system and simple controls. Mechanical controls are available for experienced operators while pilot controls are also present for people renting the machine and contractors with fairly new operators.

580SV

The 580SV Construction King brings a tool carrier-style front end back to the Case backhoe line in North America, ideal for businesses that use the loader end of their backhoe as a primary material handler. Adding a 4-in-1 bucket, a 6-in-1 bucket, or any of the countless attachments available for Case backhoes turns this into a multi-purpose job site solution. The North American market will not have to wait for the new center pivot model, and the company is set to launch a side-shift model later in 2023.

According to George MacIntyre, Product Manager at Case Construction Equipment, the need for more efficient machinery is a driving force behind the revolution of backhoe loaders since construction industry is experiencing workforce challenges and job sites are now much more diverse.

The Vice President of North America at Case Construction Equipment, Terry was of the opinion that North American market has been the center point for backhoe loaders since the introduction of the machine, the rest of the world is mainly side shift, and that emphasis will continue to grow.

Revival of the Iconic ‘Construction King’ Name

The reintroduction of the “Construction King” name by Case Construction Equipment comes as a welcome development for businesses in the landscaping, rental, agriculture and utility sectors. With five new backhoe models added to its product line, the company seeks to deliver one of the industry’s most comprehensive and diverse backhoe offerings, meeting the needs of contractors and businesses of all sizes in North America.
