Forestry jobs are as critical to handle as the construction ones. For the toughest tasks, you need designated and more efficient equipment to get the maximum efficiency and productivity.

Develon, in this sector, has made its name after launching multiple pieces of equipment for forestry jobs. Their equipment is robust and reliable and is made specifically for the toughest lands.

This time, Develon has launched two powerful equipment, including the DX225LL-7 log loader and the DX225RB-7 road builder.

Powerful performance designed for the woods

The DX225LL-7 and DX225RB-7 are powered by a 162-horsepower DL06P diesel engine and twin hydraulic pumps that deliver 56.4 gallons per minute each.

This type of hydraulic output translates to increased lifting capacity and faster cycle times, which are especially important when handling large logs or moving heavy debris.

To improve productivity in real-world forestry conditions, Develon increased swing torque for better control when repositioning loads on uneven terrain.

Operators can activate a one-touch hydraulic power boost when extra strength is required, providing instant responsiveness without wasting fuel or time.

Another advantage is the availability of four distinct power modes. Operators can now adjust the machine’s output to suit the task at hand, balancing fuel consumption and performance as needed.

Add to that an auto-shutdown feature—adjustable from three to sixty minutes of idle time, and you have a machine that is not only hardworking but also energy-efficient.

Operators’ comfort and visibility Recent upgrades

The DX225LL-7’s loader for sale cab features a built-in 4-foot riser, providing operators with a higher vantage point and enhanced visibility during log loading.

Both models have heavy-duty guarding on key components, including front and top guards, high and wide undercarriages for ground clearance, and reinforced side panels to withstand the harsh environments found in forestry work.

Inside the cab, operators enjoy a heated air-suspension seat, adjustable headrests and armrests, and joystick controls that move with the seat. A full-color LCD monitor displays machine diagnostics and live camera views.

An optional 360-degree Around View Monitor adds an extra layer of safety by providing a live view of the machine’s surroundings.

Smart Maintenance and Standard Telematics

Develon designed the -7 Series machines to be more easily serviced on a daily basis. Grease points are centralized at the boom’s base for easy access by operators, and filters are stored in a secure area.

An auto-reversing fan on the radiator prevents dust and debris from clogging the system, extending component life and reducing downtime.

Every unit includes Develon’s My Develon telematics platform, which allows fleet managers to access real-time data about machine location, performance, and health via a mobile app or website.

Durability comes as standard, and the warranty adds peace of mind

Forestry applications require rugged equipment, which Develon appears to understand well. Optional upgrades include a side-entry forestry cab with thick polycarbonate glass that meets Oregon OSHA and British Columbia WCB standards.

A rear emergency exit is also provided for added safety. Both machines include a standard 3-year/5,000-hour full-coverage warranty.

For those seeking extended coverage, Develon offers Protection Plus plans that cover materials and workmanship for up to 5 years or 7,500 hours.

With these new additions, Develon demonstrates its dedication to the forest by combining power, visibility, and durability in a well-rounded package.
