CASE Construction Equipment has released a bold new limited-edition version of its popular TV450B compact track loader, this time with a powerful twist.

The machine, inspired by Metallica frontman James Hetfield, combines rockstar aesthetics with jobsite toughness. With only 25 of these loaders being built, it’s already making waves in the equipment industry.

This machine is more than just an attractive design. It’s a real workhorse wrapped in a design inspired by Hetfield’s signature guitars and style.

Every detail, from the custom skull and wing decals to the laser-cut steel nameplate, exudes personality and performance.

A modern design that meets the excellency

The Hetfield TV450B is unlike anything else on the market, as you can tell from the first glance. CASE went all in with a custom vinyl wrap that resembles the finish on Hetfield’s iconic guitars.

The branding details, from the bold fonts to the graphic flourishes, are clearly influenced by Metallica’s legendary sound. Even the interior of the cab doesn’t hold back—with guitar-shaped serial badges and custom seat embroidery, the machine is a collector’s dream.

The rear grill has a laser-cut “Hetfield” nameplate secured with anti-tamper bolts, giving it an industrial edge.

CASE transformed a standard piece of construction equipment into something that looks like it belongs backstage at a rock concert.

What should we expect about performance?

Don’t be fooled by the edgy design; the Hetfield edition TV450B is still a powerful compact track loader designed for real-world use. It has a 90-horsepower engine and a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds, making it ideal for demanding jobs in construction, agriculture, and landscaping.

This model features CASE’s EZ Trac system, which includes a rigid-mounted undercarriage with pivoting bogey rollers.

This setup improves track stability and increases track life, even in difficult terrain. Because of its low ground pressure, it protects delicate surfaces while providing power without unnecessary impact.

It offers high-flow hydraulics and precise control over the machine

The machine is equipped with high-flow hydraulics, which provide the power for more advanced attachments. Whether you’re using augers, snow blowers, or trenchers, the Hetfield TV450B has the versatility and responsiveness to switch tasks quickly without sacrificing efficiency.

It also includes CASE’s signature operator comfort and control features. This loader performs as well as it looks, with smooth joystick control, excellent visibility, and a well-insulated cab—even on long shifts and busy job sites.

Limited edition with extra features

You will be surprised to know that this loader with some extra features will no longer be available after some time, as it is a limited edition. Case is making only 25 units of this this loader for sale for its valuable customers.

This might be the publicity and marketing stunt to get the attention towards the company and get the maximum number of orders.

Should you buy this loader for your fleet?

For industry professionals, this limited release is more than just a novelty; it marks a shift. CASE demonstrates that utility does not have to come at the cost of character. The Hetfield TV450B demonstrates that manufacturers can communicate directly with those who use their machines on a daily basis.

They are tapping into something personal by creating something that reflects their interests, whether it is music, mechanics, or machinery.

In an industry where equipment is typically judged solely on specs, CASE has introduced a new element: expression. It remains rugged and reliable, but it also makes a statement. And this could lead to more creative, customized machine releases in the future.
