Tadano America claims that Brown’s expertise in the field makes him an ideal choice to oversee the North American sales team while it continues to launch the Tadano AWP line. The company thinks that combining Brown’s expertise with Tadano’s well-established reputation in the lifting equipment industry will speed up growth and improve client relations.

Did the acquisitions shape Tadano’s AWP portfolio?

Two significant acquisitions that altered Tadano’s product capabilities are closely linked to the company’s AWP business launch in the US and Canada. Self-propelled crawler boom lifts were added to Tadano’s product line with the acquisition of Nagano Industry Co. Ltd., and the company’s reach and access equipment expertise were further enhanced with the more recent acquisition of Manitex International.

Tadano now offers what it claims to be one of the most comprehensive boom lift ranges in the industry, due to these acquisitions and its extensive lifting experience. This expanded portfolio, including the Tadano cranes for rent, enables the business to provide services for a greater variety of applications, from industrial maintenance and construction to rental fleets in need of flexible and dependable access solutions.

How do you see ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026?

At ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, Tadano intends to showcase the entire range of its AWP capabilities. The company will display a variety of aerial work platforms intended for North American contractors and rental homes during the March event.

With platform heights up to 67 feet and 7 inches, the lineup consists of diesel and electric self-propelled tracked and wheeled models. The introduction of the AS-63HD, a heavy-duty telescopic boom lift with a 2,200-pound platform capacity, in North America will be one of the main highlights. 

With a maximum horizontal reach of 37 feet and 4 inches and a platform height of 62 feet and 8 inches, the model is a powerful choice for demanding jobsite applications.

Additionally, at Tadano’s Festival Lot exhibit, where the company hopes to show how its lifting industry experience is shaping a new approach to the AWP market, attendees will have the chance to meet Tyler Brown.
